Service Opportunity for all club members and their families

Traveling to Grand Bahamas where our group will be providing eyeglasses using the Rosani Lens Project kit.

We will be partnering with and working with the Grand Bahama and Freeport Rotary Clubs and local public health officials. Cost-effective vision support is very much needed in a community that suffered heavy losses during the 2022 Hurricane Season. The Bahamian Rotary Clubs will provide the venue and attract the population that will be served.

In addition to providing eye exams, prescription,s and reading glasses, there is an opportunity to tour the Island, meet Bahamian Rotary members, meet locals, and visit places of interest.

You must have a passport for entry into the Bahamas. A visa is not required, but they will want to know your departure date when you arrive.

Please let Randy know if you would like to join us

The more the merrier!  Spouses and family members are welcome.  Costs are borne by the attendees and not the club.  Should be a very enlightening, interesting and even life-changing event.

The Rosini Lens Project's mission is to empower lives and communities by restoring sight. This global project brings kits to overseas locations where optometrists and affordable glasses are unavailable. Visual impairment is a global problem; millions of people need glasses but cannot access them.

With a  technique for low-cost, on-site glasses production is made wherever it's needed. The Rosani Lens Project is a local 501C3
